Federal Trade Commission
The federal clearinghouse for identity victim's complaints. You can file a complaint with the FTC by calling toll-free: 1-877-IDTHEFT (438-4338).

Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation
THE FDIC supervises state-chartered banks that are not members of the Federal Reserve System. Also insures deposits at banks and savings and loans.

National Credit Union Administration
The NCUA charters and supervises federal credit unions and insures their deposits. Deposits at many state credit unions are also insured.

Office of Thrift Supervision
Primary regulator of of all federal and some state-chartered thrift institutions, including savings banks and savings and loans institutions.

Department of Justice

Federal Communications Commission
